I can’t think of a better first featured client than my long creative partnership with my father, PhotoGraphica Krohn. Owned by Peter Krohn, this artistic endeavor combines Peter’s passion for botanical photography and my own for image editing. Peter’s images are created using a flatbed scanner. He started working with this method nearly 10 years ago and I have assisted him by improving and printing his images since the beginning.
After the compositions are arranged on the scanner, they are handed off to Zestful Imaging where I optimize them. All images are created in a single exposure, my enhancements never include compositing. The majority of what I do is removing dust and debris and making adjustments to color and tone. Once these images are finished, we move to the printing process. Most of the work is printed on aluminum, paper, and canvas in our studio.
Beyond the work I have done retouching and printing, I have also designed promotional materials for Photographica Krohn including his website, brochures, and email newsletters. View my portfolio to see some of the work we’ve done and view his website to see more!
