I am fortunate enough to work out of my childhood home, surrounded by sequoia trees and the beauty of West Sonoma County. My studio is equipped with top-of-the-line technology to ensure you receive the highest quality results. If you like to meet face-to-face, I’m just 7 minutes from downtown Sebastopol. I conduct much of my business through email as well, if you’d prefer.

Zestful Imaging was born through a lifelong passion and study of photography, design, and printing. I love the work that I do and my goal is to help you succeed while doing what excites you most. "Zest" describes both enthusiasm and a potent flavoring ingredient. The spirit of this word captures what I strive to provide for my clients.

What I do
I help small business owners and creatives capture their products or artwork in a accurate yet creative way. These images can then be used in design projects such as websites and mailers or printed to a variety of archival substrates.
Design Aesthetic
My approach to design embraces cleanliness and simplicity. I believe that your content is the foundation, and design is meant to accentuate it. Therefore, I make an effort to avoid the flashy, distracting design elements that take away from your message.
Printing
My passion for printing photographs began in a traditional darkroom. As technology and my skills have evolved, I now do all my printing on digital equipment. Despite this, I bring much of what I learned from the darkroom into my digital workflow. Every print is individually adjusted for highest quality results.

I was first introduced to Photoshop and HTML in the 90s through EXCEL for Youth camp, put on by Sonoma State University. Ever since then, I’ve pursued learning more and more on these topics up through college. During the summer of 2006, I got my first experience with a giclée printer while employed by a company called Art For All of Us. In 2008, I began working alongside my father’s art business, Photographica Krohn. Here I was able to hone my Photoshop skills, learn more about the process behind digital printing, and develop marketing skills. The following year I started my own business, later to be known as Zestful Imaging, where I utilize the skills I have developed over many years.
